is great book (read the full story here). And last week I have finished my reading of Tony’s book.
This book will make you uncomfortable if you:
1. Work just for money
2. Hate your job
3. Hate what you do or hate what you have became
4. Have no real relationships
5. Do not find the meaning of the things you do
It will make you uncomfortable if you are not a linchpin as described by Seth Godin. But it will show you the way to become one. It will show you how Tony became a linchpin for his friends, employees, colleagues and clients.
Delivering Happiness is not an easy task. If you embark o this journey you cannot stop. People will rely on you to get the happiness we all crave for. And you have to ship. You have to ship all the time. Shipping is hard because of our fears. We are afraid to be laughed at, we are afraid to fail. But how can we ship if we do not fail? Tony has failed many times. And he shipped even more times. His company was on the edge of going bankrupt but he had the strength to get up and move the things.. And now he shipped his path on Delivering Happiness.
Should you read a book that makes you uncomfortable?
It depends on what you’re up to. If you want to create and ship, if you want to be part of something bigger than yourself, if you want to be happy and if you care about your colleagues, friends, followers, connections or employees you definitely have to deliver.
